the parents pick the most noisy/boisterous/talkative amongst the baby's godparents (if the baby is a girl, then its the noisiest godmother. if a boy, then the godfather) and this godparent will "unlock" the baby's mouth with a key... the baby should then begin to talk sooner than expected (supposedly).
soooooo among halleigh's godmothers, it's kring who's the most madaldal. that's because she's our babaeng bakla extraordinaire.
i am not superstitious but heh, we did it just for the heck of it (there is nothing to lose anyway).
we brought halleigh's chicco toy keys (a teether from her ninang donna mae and ninong ericson) to enchanted kingdom and went on with the silly ceremony. :p
